Yesterday was the first equip "Report Back" session in chennai which was organized by me. It happenned in YWCA International Guesthouse at 6:45 PM to about 8:45PM.

The people who participated:
Bernard - Anchor person
Abel, Nachi and Tina (Operations), Alex, Narendranath and David Jairaj.

Bernard was the anchor person and he came under spiritual attack at the beginning of the programme itself when he felt like he was getting a heart attack and started sweating profusely and getting wobbly in the feet. We didn't know it, but he mentioned this after a while. We prayed for him and he felt much better almost immediately.

Only 16 people turned up though we wanted upwards of 30 people. Of this 4 people signed up for becoming consultants though we set the consulting fees at Rs.9000 and the client registration fee at Rs.25000. So that is good.

In the night, Bernard, Alex and I went for coffee to Coffee Day on our way back home. We stayed on till about 11:00PM before returning home.

It was during this meeting that Bernard suggested that we should consider creating a highly cohesive network of business people to ensure that those who participate as clients in the equip venture get to see real change in their businesses. We have a lot of people with specific strengths in various areas (Alex in HR, myself in IT etc) that it would be very useful for other organizations to benefit from this.

I spoke about how we should look at a network of business people who can help each other out in training businesses to manage debt, handle personnel mangement etc.

Shalina was training people in the christmas play which is to happen shortly. She came down to Coffee Day to pick up the house keys. She is not happy about my involvement with equip as she sees it as competition to Ashraya and that is sad.

I got into an arguement with Shalina about this, this morning. She seems to believe that the only thing that matters is what I do for Ashraya in Ashraya. She also said that I am not involved enough in Ashraya. She says that I am always in a bad mood on Sunday mornings. I find that insulting and unfair.

I think she should realize that I enjoy what I am doing with helping businesses develop (what I am doing in equip) and working with the men. She should also realize that this is just as important as anything else.

Anyway, Bernard called up during breakfast to tell me that he went in for an ECG but that has come out clean. So that is good news too.
