Something which came up yesterday was a conversation with Mike and Abey - they were concerned about Nithin. He seems to have approached Mike and Abey about joining the worship team. Neither Mike nor Abey feels that he is ready to join the worship team as yet because of all the previous history with messed up relationships.

I too feel that Nithin has some work to do with himself before he is ready to join the worship team. He has to get his life in order and get more stability into the system.

Mike believes that Nithin will have to wait atleast a couple of years - that is, atleast until 2008 or 2009. He was concerned that Nithin may not accept such terms and leave the church for good.. and that may be the end of him. Mike is keen that Nithin be helped.

I will need to determine ways of helping Nithin. I know he is in God's heart.

Last afternoon, I went over to webstix to present about equip to Philip John uncle, Senthil and Jeyakaran (from Powerhouse).

I was able to present clearly what equip is about and what the course entails. I have sparked some interest. What is amazing to me is how God is slowly building me up in this area to speak to me.

I feel like God is calling me to work with working men - especially businessmen, to change their life around to seek and know God.

Bernard called me up last noon to say that he is very interested in working with people like me to see how businesses can be touched. He was talking about his conversations with Virendra Vase about how we should recruit some senior top management people as consultants else we won't be able to train other consultants who won't take the juniors seriously. He feels that I am good, I can tell. This is very encouraging to me.

I went to Maverick for exercise after a very long time.

Mathew came home for dinner and it was good to speak to him.

Bernard - one of the clients from equip venture 2006, had received a lead last Friday from a client and it may close this monday. He said he would get back to me on that, but hasn't. I hope he received it.

The day was quite interesting - I looked at the TDS payments I need to make and it is already in the range of 31K and there isn't sufficient funds in the bank for that. I have asked alwyn for payments on the work we have done for him.

This evening David Jeyaraj came to my office for our weekly Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) meetings. I expressed my discomfort over the equip report back and the situation that I find myself in where I have to run the report back though I am not really interested in it.

I am concerned that equip will see this as me taking over control. I have written to Virendra Vase over it as God knows that I don't want to have any control over this; I am only doing it because no one else is stepping up to take it. But there is a possibility that this has already been misunderstood by the people.

David and I had a good chat - he spoke to me about setting apart time in the morning, noon and night to spend with God. He said that there is too much gap between our morning and nightly devotions and there is a need for a midday meeting with God and that is essential for abiding with God.

I think that is an interesting point. he also said that God will act on our behalf and bring things to pass if we take time off a busy day to spend time with Him right in the middle of the day. He recounted how this had happenned to him several times through his life.

I want to really try this out - his suggestion of a midday meeting with God seems good to me and I plan on giving this a good shot. I plan on starting tomorrow.

Something else which David said which stood out to me was that he wanted to look at my Maturity indicator excel file and he felt that it would be a great tool to use in a church to build up people. I find that an interesting thought because I never thought of using this in anything other than in a office setting.
