My old life

The day was spent not doing much -- just a little bit of work on KR when Rajendran and the gang organized a meeting for explaining the project to the entire gang. I think the meetings here take too long with a whole lot of questions being asked with at least some of these questions being only partially relevant at best. I think I will need to brush up on Java and regular expressions. I am looking forward to going to the US. I think it will be interesting. Lets see how the visas work out.

The folks - Andrew and Tina, Roy, Kevin and Becky, David (Andrew's friend) and I met on Saturday afternoon (7th April). They came over to Quickies and then we landed up at Food Court for lunch following which we wanted to go to a movie but couldn't. So we hung out at the Crystal Bar, followed by Landmark and then finally the fruit juice joint near Pizza Hut. We all had a good time and enjoyed most of the day.

I look forward to having these meetings again.. Andrew informs me that he has got his Swedish visa and that he will be travelling to Sweden by the 24th of May. I am sad to see that he will be going away as well. I will miss him and Tina. I want to have another meeting and this time I want to take a few photographs.

I had wanted Pavithra to come but she couldn't (or rather didn't) make it. She says that she had some work.. but I doubt it. I think she didn't want to meet the entire gang.
I feel sad for her. She is getting into this more and more everyday and this loneliness will not help her. I continue to pray for her.
